Hello everyone,
This is my first time blogging,
My name is Aaron Gardener and I am a Jamaican who is living and working in the US on a work exchange program. I currently work in an elementary school as an Art Teacher. I have been in the education field for over 15 years. I have teaching experience in Jamaica and Turks and Caicos Island. I also do a little photography whether its a portrait of a family or friend or nature and its natural beauty.
In my spare time I enjoy small art projects, traveling and enjoying nature, I like to listen to all genre of music even orchestral. For example, I love the beach and I also enjoy fishing

The Impact of Technology

Let me begin by saying I enjoyed doing this course, it has opened my eyes to lots of things in my practice as it relates to the uses of technology in the classroom. There is no doubt that technology has changed the classroom and the society that I live in today. I know the technologies are there but was still in my own way of teaching and using the basic technology that I got in my classroom. Reflecting back on this course the media has helped me to identify materials and also highlighted technologies that I must include in my classroom as it geared toward teaching and learning and improving my technological skills.        Behaviorist learning theory, a philosophy that believes a well-rounded understanding of the relationship between stimulus and response can promote desired behaviors within an individual (Standridge, 2002.) With this said teacher have to let student practice good behavior while in the classroom if they want the student to learn. The relationship among behaviorism instructional strategies and technology tool are like the necessary condition in which educators must teach 21st-century learners.
